Hunter Group Services was founded in 2001 as a security company providing specialised CCTV surveillance services to South African corporate businesses.
In a relatively short space of time we have grown to become the leading specialist security service provider, providing corporate risk services in the form of guarding, technical and surveillance services to manufacturers, distributors and retailers alike.
Over the years we have managed to firmly establish the Odyssey Operations Group as the security specialist provider of choice by delivering superior personalised service and unmatched expertise in our areas of specialisation. We have become known as a supplier that delivers true results, value and unmatched service.
After rebranding of Hunter Group Services in 2025, this proud legacy now lives on through the Odyssey Operational Group.
In addition to Odyssey Security, Security Services are also provided through our Ukhuselo Security brand. This Specialist Security Division is proud to be a Level 1 BBBEE contributor.
Under this new brand and operational structure, the Odyssey Operational Group now offers clients much more, with our expanded geographical footprint, improved service offering and improved operational efficiencies.

We offer services in all major metropolitan areas with over 160 security vehicles in operation and a footprint covering the Western Cape, Gauteng, KZN, Bloemfontein & Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
